In 2003, BBMG was founded by two veteran producers, Beth Knott and Brad Staggs. Between the two of them, the bring over 35 years of TV and Video Production experience . Beth is the Executive Producer and handles the hands-on operators of the business. BBMG Producers and Crew have produced nationally-broadcast content for DIY Network, Fine Living, TNN, HGTV, HGTVpro.com, PBS, Food Network and more. In addition to producing content for television, Beth and Brad have worked with numerous local and national corporate clients, including Black & Decker, Dremel, Stanley Bostitch, Senco, Craftsman, Hickory Hardware, Huber Engineered Woods, Paslode and more.
Beth thought she was coming home to Nashville, Tennessee to begin a career in the Country Music business. But no one had yet heard of Garth, and the industry was in a slump, so she ended up in the television world instead. Producing shows, segments and videos for TNN, PBS, HGTV, DIY, Fine Living, The Food Network, and a host of manufacturers fed her talent for cracking the whip. For BBMG, Beth brings her amazing skills of managing content, clients, crews and meat puppets to the business. She manages the details and puts the pieces together to make a video come to life.
Brad acts as Creative Consultant at BBMG. He’s spent most of his professional life in the media: radio, TV, the internet, and now as author of Spend-A-Little, Save-A-Lot Home Improvements. He has been in the home improvement industry for well over a decade, and thanks to his role as a producer and host for HGTV, DIY, TNN and more, has been able to dabble in more completely unrelated fields than probably anyone else. That officially makes him a jack of all trades, master of a couple, one of which is his amazing creative vision. He sees it, he gets it, and he makes it magically appear on video, which is why we think that he is a creative genius.
